Wilkinsburg School District Receives Little Free Library Through Reading Champions Program

Thanks to the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and U.S. Steel, a Little Free Library was installed outside of Turner Intermediate School, providing free, year-round access to books that support literacy and a lifelong love of reading.

The summer fun continues at the Wilkinsburg Public Library this August with science programs, crafts, dinosaurs, animals, technology activities, and the conclusion of the Summer Reading Challenge. Join us as we celebrate a summer filled with reading and learning.

July is packed with dinosaur-themed adventures, science activities, creative projects, and summer reading fun at the Wilkinsburg Public Library. Children and teens are encouraged to participate in programs throughout the month while continuing to earn prizes through the Summer Reading Challenge.
