We're excited to announce the start of our Ukulele Club at Turner Intermediate! Students will meet once a week during recess to learn, play, and grow together as musicians - and they'll perform at our Spring Concert.
For the past few years, our students have enjoyed learning ukulele basics in music class. Now, with your help, they can take that enthusiasm even further! Through our DonorsChoose project, we're raising funds to purchase additional ukuleles so students can take instruments home to practice each week.
Having their own ukulele will help students build confidence, responsibility, and teamwork skills while experiencing the joy of making music beyond the classroom.
