Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Council

The first meeting will be held on Thursday, February 26, at 6:00 p.m. in the first-floor meeting room at the Administration Building, located at 718 Wallace Ave., Wilkinsburg, PA 15221. RSVP here.

Superintendent Dr. Jocelyn Artinger is launching this council to provide families with an opportunity to share perspectives, offer feedback, and help inform decisions that impact our schools. The group will meet quarterly and will play an important role in district planning, policies, and initiatives.

The council will advise the superintendent on districtwide issues, provide a parent and guardian perspective on programs and priorities, identify concerns and ideas from school communities, review initiatives, and support transparency, collaboration, and student success through family engagement.

Discussion topics may include academic programs and student achievement, school safety and student well-being, family engagement, equity, access, and inclusion, communication and community partnerships, and district planning and improvement efforts.

Parents, guardians, and caregivers who are interested in collaborating, listening, and helping improve our district are encouraged to participate.
