With more than 20 years of experience in education, Mrs. Reed joins Wilkinsburg to oversee school safety, security, and federal programs across the district.

Thanks to the Pittsburgh Penguins Reading Champions Program, Turner Intermediate's third-graders now have access to a Book Vending Machine, which inspires and rewards their love of reading.

Wilkinsburg School District will welcome students in Grades 1–6 back on Tuesday, September 2, while Pre-K and Kindergarten families will attend orientation that day before beginning their first official day of school on Wednesday, September 3. Please take a moment to review the arrival and dismissal procedures and the orientation schedule to ensure a smooth start to the year.

Wilkinsburg School District is excited to launch the Parent Portal, giving families real-time access to student attendance, grades, schedules, report cards, and important school announcements via the web or the Campus Parent mobile app.

The K–5 Little Warriors After-School Program offers Wilkinsburg students engaging academic, STEAM, and enrichment activities in a safe, supportive environment from September to June, ending each day at 6:30 p.m.
