This memorandum is provided as notice, pursuant to Section 1073 of the Public School Code, 24 P.S. § 10-1073, that the agenda for the regular meeting of the Board of School Directors of the Wilkinsburg School District to be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, will include an item for the proposed election of Dr. Joey Maluchnik as Superintendent for a term of 4 years and 6 months. Such meeting shall be convened at 7:00 p.m. at the District Administration Office at 718 Wallace Avenue, Wilkinsburg, PA 15221 and accessible via video conference on the Google Meet platform accessible by a link to be provided and published on the School District’s website in advance of the meeting.

The Wilkinsburg School District is currently seeking an application for a Board of School Director vacancy for a two-year term ending December 2023.  Interested candidates must submit a letter of interest to Richard Liberto, 718 Wallace Avenue, Wilkinsburg, PA 15221 or [email protected], no later than January 25, 2022, by NOON.

We will be in session on Monday, December 6, 2021, and students are to return to either Kelly Primary or Turner Intermediate for their regular school day. The buildings have been deep-cleaned and we are ready for our students.

The Back-to-School Bash that was scheduled on 8-27-21 is postponed.
